Custom Guitar Ordering
Trident Guitars Custom shop will work with you to make your ideal guitar. Want 7 single coil pickups mounted side-by-side? We can do that! Want 1 volume and no tone control? Fine with us! Want to send us pickups you wound yourself? No problem! The bottom line is, we want to make you YOUR guitar. When it comes to custom, it never hurts to ask.
ALL-Tone Option
The ALL-Tone Option is available on all Trident guitar models. Depending on the number of pickup coils on the guitar, the ALL-Tone option consists of installing a T2, T3 or T4 pickup switch upgrade in the guitar. Furie and Cyclops models (having a single humbucking pickup) will have a T2 switch. Demigod guitars (with a P90 and a humbucker) will have a T3 switch. Tempest model guitars will have a T4 switch. These pickup switch upgrade products dramatically increase the number of pickup tones possible from each guitar.

For instance, a standard Cyclops model guitar has a humbucker in the bridge position with a coil split switch which gives the guitar 2 possible pickup tones. With a T2 switch installed the guitar as 6 different pure analog pickup tones! The 3 mini switches of the T2 switch upgrade allow the guitarist to turn each pickup coil on and off (both in normal phase and reverse phase) and allows the pickup coils to be in a parallel or series circuit.

A Standard Trident Tempest model guitar has two humbuckers and a 3-way pickup selector producing 3 possible pickup tones. The T4 pickup switch can produce 76 pure analog pickup tones from two humbucker pickups! The T4 switch is essentially 2 T2 switches as described above, with 3 switches controling the neck pickup and the other 3 controling the bridge pickup.

Custom Option Pricing
Every aspect of building a Trident Guitar has a cost associated with it. For instance, a 3 humbucker guitar costs a little more than a 2 humbucker guitar or a 1 humbucker guitar because of the labor it takes to route pickup cavaties and wire pickups. Likewise every component costs money. A 1 humbucker 1 volume no tone control guitar will cost less than a 2 humbucker, 2 vol, 1 tone, 3-way switch guitar by the cost of a pickup a 3-way switch and 2 pots. Sending us your pickups will save you some money on the guitar but may cost you more in the long run because you had to buy the pickups you sent to us. So, until we "spec out" your guitar I can't tell you how much it will cost. We don't do this to nickle and dime you, we do this so we can work to make you your guitar and stay within your budget.
